With the Kakinada Beach Festival confirmed in December 2017 recently, AP tourism has started to work on ground level to make it a big hit. As a part of it, AR Rehman is performing a live concert on 21st December at the Beach festival.
Recently AP Tourism has released a video featuring AR Rehman inviting all the music enthusiasts (Singers & Music Band) to share the stage with him. It is “Share ARR Stage as a part of Ar Rahman 25th Anniversary celebrations”. Check out the video now.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Submission of Entries: 14 November 4 PM onwards to 10 December 12:00 Am
- Contest Overview: The participants will register themselves and upload their videos on shareARRstage.com/. A screening process will be conducted and 50 entries will be shortlisted to compete for a chance to perform on the same stage as AR Rahman
- Who Can Enter: Anyone with talent and belonging to an educational institution
- How To Enter: No registration fee is required, an entrant just has to with the page, fill the registration form and upload a video of their performance thus making them eligible for the screening process
Entry Requirements
- The participants should be students of an educational institute.
- Each participant have to upload their college student ID. In case of absence of student ID, a letter from the college authorities certifying that they are students of that college is essential.
- Video upload has to be within 10 MB and of a good quality with good visibility.
- One person can register only in one category
- For a band: only one registration form is required, but names of all band members is required while registering
- One person can play with only one band
- All entries must be complete and received before the last date of registration
- Any entry deemed inappropriate or unsuitable, in website managers sole discretion will be disqualified.
- The shortlisted contestants will have to submit their government ID proof to the website managers.
Selection Process
- All selections will be managed by a judging panel made up of 3 judges whose profile will be shared later. The judging panel will select the top 50 contestants who will get a chance to compete for an opportunity of a lifetime
- Shortlisted contestant will be announced by 15 Dec 2017.
- The list will be posted on the website and a congratulatory mail will also be sent to them. The shortlisted contestants need to acknowledge the mail and accept their participation in the contest
- Three attempts will be made to contact to the shortlisted contestants. After three unsuccessful attempts have been made within 2 working days, the contestant will be disqualified and a new contestant will be selected
- A background check will be done for all shortlisted participants. In the event of false information, mismatch of information or any objection from the college authorities, parents or legal guardians, the contestant will be disqualified.
General Rules and Regulations
- All decisions of the judging panel are final. No questioning will be entertained. No responsibility will be taken for entries lost, misdirected or delayed.
- By participating in this, the participant agree to allow managers to use their names, nicknames, city of residence, photographs or statements for advertising purposes without any compensation.
- The contact information collected will not be used for any other purpose apart from sending information
- In the event of failure to meet eligibility criteria or comply with rules, the entry will be disqualified
- The event will run along the lines of the rules indicated which is subject to change as per the decisions made by the managers. A prior information will be given in case of any change in rules.
- The rules and regulations are subject to change without notice, if necessary. Notification will be sent to all in case of any change in rules and regulations
- The managers may amend or terminate any entry at their discretion without advance notice.
- By registering the participants agree to be bound by the rules and regulations
- The programme is subject to all applicable government, municipal and local laws and regulations
- Managers will not be responsible for losses, damages or claims caused by or resulting from the contest
- In case the content given during registration is not clear, a mail will be sent to the participant. Failure to respond to the mail within the defined time will lead to disqualification
- Other restrictions may apply
